n this website we hightlight the Dashwerks, DashPC™ Telematics Server. The Linux DashPC™ software platform began it's development in 1999. At present, it delivers multimedia (DVDs, MP3s, CDs, Radio), Navigation, Games, Engine Diagnostics, and Wireless Networking capability. The system seen here was built using the DashPC™ human machine interface (HMI) software. The DashPC™ telematics platform is interfaced via multiple input methods - key among them are: motorized fold-out 7" Touchscreen VGA LCD display, wireless remote control, and a vehicle enhanced handheld wireless keyboard and pointing device. The Dashwerks DashPC™ telematics platform is one of the most advanced carputer platforms available. Among the vehicle manufacturers that Dashwerks DashPC™ technology has been demonstrated in are:

DashPC™ technology will work in virtually any vehicle. These DashPC™ prototype vehicles feature Global Positioning and Navigation (GPS), Digital Versatile Discs (DVDs), and an OBDII on-board engine interface. Dashwerks™ technology includes such advanced features as Geocasting, AODV, VANETS, and V2V communication. Unlike other vehicle infotainment systems, the DashPC™ was designed to be simple to use in a vehicle environment, while simultaneously offering powerful expansion capability (because of our RTOS Linux core).

Our products were designed to supplement the Driver's on-road capabilities (intelligent camera technology and emergency vehicle notification, for example) and provide more enjoyment to all travelers. In addition, the system offers a new world of enjoyment for passengers and brings the power of vehicle telematics and computing to people with any automobile.
